Challenges of Business in these times

Google… does not like mobile businesses. We had a good run of having our listing up. But our listing has been removed by a bot. And the current rules for listing make it impossible for us to have a listing. We are required to have a physical shop and an address where customers can come to. And living full-time in an RV, we don’t have that. So, until the rules change to accept mobile businesses or we get a shop address, I guess we will not be able to list. We are still in the Four Corners area of Orlando, Florida, and still servicing the surrounding areas. We are mostly staying at Thousand Trails Orlando, 2110 Thousand Trails Blvd, Clermont, Florida 34714. And you can always reach out to us at samrri761@gmail.com or 941-479-0742 to get our current location.

Website woes…It has been a while since I built our website. The website is constantly updated and upgraded to the newest plugins and features behind the scenes, and not by me. The last update had some things that didn’t want to talk with each other and completely broke our site. It wasn’t even visible online at all for a short time. While I have got everything visible again, it is quite broken and not the site I built. The slide shows are just long series of photos, and some formatting has been altered or removed. I will be working to get it back into good shape and more user-friendly. At least for now, the information is there.

Bye Bye Bus…so the difficult decision to let go of the bus was made last year. So you won’t see Jim out and about in it. He is back to using the Excursion as a work truck for now.

While things look a little different now and we have had a few challenges in getting word out, we are still here and looking forward to working with all our loyal customers and new customers in the future. We are so grateful for the trust you put in us to help with your RV needs, as well as referrals to your friends and family.

New RV Repair bus!

Jim and his new bus on pick up day.

25 September 2020

We needed a little more room for all the tools of Jims’ trade. So the hunt has been on for a while. He finally found an auction and managed to be the high bidder winning this bus. So now the work to make it into a mobile shop and get it all tagged up with his information. And after almost 3 years we have an extra vehicle giving us some freedom to roam while he is working.

I am getting lots of practice making vinyl decals. Still working on building that business for me. Mostly on my Facebook page at ShuttAdventuresEmporium

Solera awning slide topper install

Getting prepped for a new slide topper.

Today I installed a new Solera slide topper on a Class A. A little prep was needed to remove the old bracket and prepare the slide before installing the new one.

Installing new brackets.

Sealant is applied behind brackets and in all holes that were needed. Don’t want any leaks later.

Sliding in the fabric.

Getting the awning centered.

All done!
